HS project (Tennouzu, Tokyo, JP)

Long time ago, Tokyo was told as “the Water City”. People mainly used water transportation, and there are many activities in the shore. During around 100 years, transportation system was changed to trains and truck vehicles. At the same time , canal water quality was getting worst and bad smell was come from canal at the rapid economic age.

By these reason, Tokyo people afraid to use waterfront. Now canal water quality

was recovered. Don’t afraid to use water front in Tokyo!!

YKAA designed the place to stay and show activities in Tennouzu area.
